According to the results of the tender of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia for the repair of six Mi-8 and Mi-17 won the Ukrainian state company Ukrspecexport.
According to the Reporter.biz company representatives, the tender offer Ukrainian side was the most competitive among the orders of Russia, Belarus and the Czech Republic.
Under the terms of the tender Ukraine should implement the overhaul of the first two helicopters in the November 30, 2013. Repairs will be carried out on GP Sevastopol aviation company, which is part of the State Concern Ukroboronprom, with the participation of Motor Sich.
It should be noted that as part of the Civil Ukroboronprom repair of Mi helicopters carried SOE Konotop plant Aviacon and state enterprise Sevastopol aviation company. Aviacon also modernizes the MI-24, along with foreign partners.
As reported, the company Russian Helicopters and Ukrainian Motor Sich company decided to work together to update the multi-purpose helicopters Mi-8.
