Designed in experimental design bureau "Rotor" (Kumertau Bashkiria) helicopter was presented at the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2011".

The development of small coaxial helicopter, which gave rise to future R-30, EDO "Rotor" beginning in 2001. In 2008, flew the first of the samples. In JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" for the helicopter made gearbox and gears, fully designed complex machines — coaxial speaker screws.

"Rotorflay" differs quiet operation, easy and economical fuel. At the moment, made three prototypes.

Take-off weight of R-30 of 490 kilograms. The helicopter is capable of speeds up to 160 kilometers per hour and can fly 400 miles without refueling. The machine is raised to a height of 4500 meters and has a comparatively low fuel consumption — 15 liters per hour. It is assumed that a helicopter will be out of competition while on patrol, as well as during agricultural work. The helicopter is fitted parachute rescue system. It is also planned to establish a manned helicopter autopilot special.
