Uralvagonzavod invests in the Chelyabinsk plant 13 billion rubles

According to the modernization program, developed in koroporatsii "Uralvagonzavod" (DC) "CTP-Uraltrak" (Chelyabinsk region) will receive 13 billion rubles.

The purpose of the program — Mass production of diesel engines and special-purpose civil using modern manufacturing techniques of major components.
Funding will come at the expense of the corporation, as well as the federal program "The development of the military-industrial complex of Russia for 2011-2020".

Modernization will affect directly the complex production: casting and forging, thermal, mechanical, test and control sites.

In March 2011, "Uralvagonzavod" became the principal owner "CTP-Uraltrak." Uralvagonzavod received ownership of more than 80% of the shares.
The former CEO of "CTP-Uraltrak" Valery Platonov became deputy director general of the corporation.?

UralVagonZavod headed by an integrated structure combining more than 20 industrial enterprises, scientific research institutes and design bureaus in Russia and Europe.
