Volgodonsky branch AEM technology has shipped equipment to an offshore platform Lukoil

The branch of JSC "AEM technology" in Volgodonsk proceeded to the second stage of shipment 11 sections of piles for offshore platform OAO "LUKOIL" LFA-1 for the development of oil gas field to them. Filanovskogo in the Caspian Sea.

In the first phase of shipment at the end of 2012 Volgodonsk branch customer was delivered 12 units of piles. Today, the company produces three sizes of sections: a 30, 32 and 40 meters, a diameter of 2.1 m and a thickness up to 85 mm. The weight of each section is from 67 to 120 tons.

For welding of longitudinal and circumferential welds in the production of shells around the clock six involved the automated welding, and to relieve the residual welding stresses applied gas furnace chamber type "Manesmann", allowing to carry out the heat treatment units sections of up to 26 meters.
Section are three types of non-destructive testing of welded joints: ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and radiographic inspection. Each section of the pile undergoes an examination of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping to the provision of the relevant certificate. Now shipped batch of 11 sections successfully passed acceptance by experts of technical control of OAO "LUKOIL".
Currently manufactured sections are delivered by road to the pier specialized enterprise, and the beginning of the navigation at the end of March — beginning of April will begin delivery of products by ship.
Only in accordance with a contract signed with OAO "LUKOIL" in October 2012, Volga-Don branch of JSC "AEM technology" (part of the engineering division of Rosatom — AtomEnergoMash) will supply the platform LSP-1 to April 2013 40 sections of piles weighing about 4,000 tons.
