07/02/13 At full capacity was a new system for electron beam welding of CL-160, developed and manufactured by the Institute of Electric Welding named after EO Paton, under the agreement of the enterprise and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The pumping station, the cooling system and computer equipment — produced for pulp-Roubaix. The vacuum chamber, power supplies, high voltage equipment, material handlers, truck loading platform, system monitoring and tracking of weld Raster-6 — home development.
New installation significantly reduces the time required for welding. Achieving the necessary vacuum in the chamber is 20 minutes, while reusing the sample, it takes from 1.5 to 4 hours. In addition, the TC-160 provides higher quality welds.
