In Turkey, 23 October 2011 there was an earthquake at a depth of 5 kilometers. Major ea epicenter was the village, located 20 kilometers north of the city of Van. In the province of Van in Erdzhish there were an earthquake of 7.2. Dozens of buildings collapsed, taking with it the lives of hundreds of people. After the main quake occurred about 20 aftershocks, one of which was the power of 5.3. People are still afraid to return to their homes, preferring life in tents on the outskirts of town.
