Ecuadorian volcanoes do not sleep Danger Zone

Volcanoes Reventodor, Sangay and Tungurahua again showing seismic activity. The same data is received on volcanoes Galeras and Fuego, in the neighborhood. In northern Chile for the company wake Laskar and Cordon-Puyeue.

January 6-7, above the crater of the volcano has been a steady 300-meter gas emissions and steam, which drift in the west-north-west. This is a clear sign that the lava almost reached the top Reventadora and continues to climb. The mountain range of the Cordillera Real, which is the volcano, can be called the most seismically active area in Ecuador. Three-kilometer basin east of the mountains is partly filled by young stratovolcanoes about 1,300 feet high, formed as a result of the rise of the crust. The largest eruption Reventador recorded in 2002, when a column of ash that rose above the top of a 17 km, and pyroclastic flows stretch for 8 km and were visible in the Kyoto.

According to some reports January 8 above the top of the volcano were seen small ash emissions. Sangay — the most southern and isolated from the other volcano in Ecuador, located in the east of the Andes. Over the last few hundred years the volcano has erupted frequently and has not lost activity so far, which caused severe morphological changes of its top.

The last eruption dates back to 1999, in which the population was evacuated de Banos on the north side of the volcano. From 4 to 10 January Tungurahua produced a pair of poles up to 500 meters, which drift to the west.
