Two new situational vessel built at a shipyard under Samuskom Tomsk, solemnly lowered to the water, they will work on the content of the Ob river basin, told reporters on Wednesday the plant manager Victor Schwartz.
In 2009-2010, the factory has passed the bankruptcy proceedings, after which it acquired JSC "Siberian Logistics Center", which includes Tomsk shipping company. In 2011, the shipyard received a government order for the construction of 18 new ships by 2015, and in August 2012 launched the first two ship to work in the Khabarovsk Territory.
Situational ships are designed to serve the waterways — depth measurements and surveys of river conditions. Ships, which will build a plant for the federal program, will also work in Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Yakutsk and Omsk.
Ltd. "Samus Shipyard" founded in 1879. Modernization of the plant's workshops to state of the art was produced in 1985-1990. Over time, the plant built more than 300 vessels of various types and purposes. Currently, the company employs 350 people.
