French concentration camps from 1938 to 1946

Concentration camp "Rivzal" in the eastern Pyrenees — all that remained in France from the internment of 600,000 people in more than 200 French camps in the period from 1938 to 1946. Spanish republicans and communists, German nationals and foreigners, Jews and Gypsies, criminals and prostitutes, traders on the "black market" and everyone suspected of subversive activities and cooperation with the German anti-fascists. The memory of the people are increasingly returning to the stories camps, as during the German occupation, organization camps in France, the French authorities themselves were engaged.
