Romania: a series of 9 earthquake, the water in the wells reeks of sulfur

October 3, 2013. As the channel Publika, the last day in the Romanian county of Galati recorded nine earthquakes. Five occurred at night. The most powerful — a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale — happened at 4:37 in the morning.

Another quake of the same magnitude was recorded at 7:37. To 10 am there were three more push.

Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta said that the government is ready to respond if necessary.

Over the past 11 days in Galati 19 earthquakes occurred. Romanian media write that in some localities of the county well water reeks of sulfur.
