U.S. put Australia 24 Super Hornet fighter
Ministry of Defence of Australia located in the U.S. order to supply 12 fighter F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and the same number of aircraft electronic warfare E/A-18G Growler, made on the basis of F/A-18.
 
As reported with reference to the Flightglobal publication Lenta.ru, Office of Military Cooperation (DSCA) has notified the Pentagon, the U.S. Congress about the possible deal. If a contract for the supply of aircraft will be signed, its price will be U.S. $ 3.7 billion
 
Except the fighter aircraft EW Ministry of Defence of Australia ordered 54 motor F414-GE-402, manufactured by General Electric, 35 radar AN/APG-79, equipment for ground maintenance.
 
According to the DSCA, the new aircraft will be used by Australia for confrontation regional threats. As expected, the contract for the supply of fighter aircraft and will be signed by the middle of the EW 2013.
