She was launched on the OIC Amber for the Russian Navy

Today in Kaliningrad on the Baltic Shipyard JSC "Amber" was launched onkeanograficheskoe research vessel "Amber" Project 22010. A vessel carrying serial number 01602, was laid down on July 8, 2010.

The designer — OJSC "Central Marine Design Bureau" Almaz "(St. Petersburg)

The ship can carry autonomous submersibles "Rus" and "Consul" with a diving depth of up to 6000 meters, and has a landing area for helicopters reception.

It is planned that at the end of next year, the ship will be handed over to the Russian Navy.
