The construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is ahead of schedule for four months. This was announced today, the First Vice-Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko government, opening the international exhibition "Atomexpo-Belarus-2013".

"End the preparatory period for the construction of the first nuclear power plant unit. Works, we are ahead of schedule for four months," — said Vladimir Semashko. According to him, the challenge is to build the first Belarusian nuclear power plant as a reliable and cost-station.

 

Journalists were told Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk, despite the fact that to date, experts are ahead of the timing of the preparatory phase of construction of nuclear power plants, contract the commissioning of the nuclear power plant does not change. According to him, the work performed by the construction of nuclear power plants, as noted by Russian specialists and experts IAEA mission is carried out with high quality. "Terms of the contract remain the same, the challenge is to build a quality safe nuclear power," — said Mikhadyuk, responding to a question corr. ITAR-TASS.

According to experts, by the end of the year on the NPP should be placed trap melt. Also already ordered the reactor vessel and the turbine.

In Belarus will build capacity of 2400 MW nuclear power plant. Commissioning of the first unit is scheduled for 2018, the second — in 2020. The general contractor for the construction of nuclear power advocates "ASE".
