TVEKS introduced the upgraded wheel excavator EK-14M

The plant "Tver Excavator" (TVEKS, is a "GAZ Group") introduced an upgraded wheel excavator EK-14M (EC-14-90), weighing 14 tons, with improved operability.
The new machine will replace the excavator EK-14-30. Serial production of the modernized excavator is scheduled for the second half of 2011.
Differences upgraded machine from the base model:
hydraulics Bosch-Rexroth,
Different design of work equipment,
a more powerful engine.
Excavator EC-14M will be made with a long handle 2200 mm and a bucket capacity of 0.8 m3, which will increase the depth of excavation to 5.5 m, and dump height — 5.7 m by 15% compared to the previous models of the series increased digging force , which is now adjusted to 9.5 kN.
Upgraded excavator is equipped with:
a full set of hydraulic Bosch-Rexroth (distributor, motor, pumping unit and control units);
powerful engine MMZ D-2452S2 (90kW)
Engine preheater "Teplostar";
cab heater Zenith;
Moves bridges with limited slip differentials;
narrow steering column AMA;
air conditioning (on request).
