The American company Oshkosh Defense graduated supply the United Arab Emirates armored M-ATV with high protection type mines MRAP.
 
On this, as reported by Defense News, said senior vice president of the military unit of John Bryant.
 
According to him, at the present time the company is with the UAE negotiating a contract for technical service M-ATV and delivery of spare parts.
 
Contract for the supply of armored vehicles was concluded in July 2012. In total, the United Arab Emirates have acquired 750 units of M-ATV. Amount of the transaction was not disclosed, but presumably it was about $ 330 million
 
Under the contract, the delivery of technology was supposed to end in August 2013. Soon after signing the agreement, it became clear that the UAE may order additional M-ATV after the first delivery.

M-ATV armored vehicles equipped with Caterpillar C7 engines capacity of 370 horsepower. Machines are capable of speeds up to 105 km per hour on the highway, and their capacity is about 1.8 tons. M-ATV designed to carry four fighters in full gear.
