Ukraine announced progress in the negotiations with the Customs Union

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara reported some progress in the process of registration of Ukraine's cooperation with the Customs Union in 3 +1 format.

"In this context, there is some progress, particularly with the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted documents concerning trade cooperation", — said Kozhara at a press conference in Kiev on February 5.

The diplomat stressed that Ukraine is interested in cooperation with the Customs Union on many sectoral issues.

About a possible partial accession of Ukraine to the norms of the Customs Union, a top diplomat said: "I think that in the course of negotiations, Ukraine will be able to find those modalities by which to deepen cooperation with the Customs Union", reports Of Korrespondent.net.

"The dynamics of these negotiations is positive, that is, I think that we will arrive at the result, which will satisfy the interests of all parties — and Ukraine and the Customs Union", — said the head of Ukrainian diplomatic corps.

February 4 spokesman Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, said Moscow is not currently confirm that Russia and Ukraine reached an agreement on gas prices, which would not depend on Ukraine's joining the Customs Union.
