Uralmashplant signed a contract with Thyssen Krupp Fordertechnik


As part of a program to develop new markets Uralmashplant today signed a contract with the designer of the world's largest mining and processing equipment Thyssen Krupp Fordertechnik (Germany) for the production of entirely new plant for the production: equipment for the energy industry.

The signing was attended by JSC "Uralmashplant" — the general director Andrei Saltanov by Thyssen Krupp — Executive Vice President-Director of the mountain areas, Mr. Detlef Neuhaus.

By the middle of 2014 by the German engineering company will be fabricated steel structures for the needs of one of the energy companies in Kazakhstan. The package will include steel construction spreader, its subsystems, crushing facilities, pipelines and trucks. The equipment will be used for the treatment of rock.

Preparations for the signing of the contract took place in record quick time. In the early autumn of 2012 Uralmashplant a familiarization visit to a member of the Board of Directors of Thyssen Krupp, Dr. Klaus Mangold. During a tour of the factory, he noted a high rate of work on the manufacture of metal spreaders for one of the Russian power plant. In December 2012 the official delegation of Thyssen Krupp Fordertechnik at the invitation of the Ural Engineering visited the Urals for the detailed analysis of production capacity URALMASHZAVOD, its technological capabilities, staff capacity. Then have been worked out the basic details of the contract. Head of the delegation of technical experts Thyssen Krupp Bernd Binder praised the potential UZTM and tentatively decided on a joint pilot project.
