Frigate «Trikand» transferred to the Indian Navy

Russian shipbuilders have transferred to the Indian Navy frigate «Trikand» («Bow") Project 11356. The frigate is equipped with a power-plant production of "Zorya" — "Mashproekt." The company is also staffed and two other ships of project 11356, built in Russia for the Indian Navy, «Teg» («Saber") and «Tarkash» («Quiver"). Frigates «Teg» and «Tarkash» were transferred to India in 2012.


"Zorya" — "Mashproekt" cooperates with Indian shipbuilders. In particular, in 2013, signed a contract for the supply of power and gas turbines for ships to be built at a shipyard in Mumbai. The company will equip four ships 15B project, which will release an upgraded power gas turbine unit with microprocessor control system.
