Ural Turbine Works upgraded equipment Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP in Kazakhstan

JSC "Ural Turbine Plant" (JSC "UTP") has completed the modernization of the steam turbine T-100/120-130, which resulted in Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP (LLP "AES Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP," The Republic of Kazakhstan) has received updated power at the rate of 120 MW. Under the terms of the agreement, signed in December 2011, the specialists of JSC "UTZ" has been modernized turbine flow passage T-100/120-130.

During the work were replaced rotors of high and medium pressure blading held stator mounted cellular seal, allowing to extend the life of equipment for 200,000 hours, and improve the technical and economic performance.

"We, as manufacturers, are interested in the fact that we previously supplied equipment, we also brought up to state of the art, and on the technical and economic parameters to the expectations of our customers and the demands imposed by the market and the regulator," — said the Chairman Board of "UTZ" Mikhail Lifshitz. UTZ is actively pursuing the modernization of the park installed steam turbines. Plant engineers designed and implemented projects upgrades for all major sizes of steam turbines to increase its own production of technical and economic parameters. Over the past five years has been held seven major upgrades of steam turbines T-100/120-130, and dozens of major upgrades of individual components of the model. This is not the first contract that Ural Turbine Works made with Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP. In addition to the renovation, the factory set components and spare parts for steam turbines of the P-38-130 and T-50/60-130 installed at the station.
