Czech Republic has signed a contract with Egypt for the supply of small arms
TSAMTO, May 30. During the exhibition IDET-2013 (May 22-24, Brno, Czech Republic) Representatives of defense «Ceska Zbroyovka» (Ceska Zbrojovka — CZUB) said on the conclusion of Egypt more than one contract for the supply of small guns.
As reported by «Altair», during the exhibition IDET-2013 CEO CZUB (g.Uharski Brod) Lubomir Kovarik (Lubomir Kovarik) confirmed the conclusion of the agreement with Egypt for the supply of 50 thousand self-loading pistols CZ 75 P-07 «Duty» (Duty). Delivery must be completed before the end of 2013. In addition, L.Kovarik said about signing a contract for the supply of Egypt several hundred 9mm submachine guns «Scorpio-EVO 3A1» (Scorpion EVO 3A1).
According to reports, the agreement with Egypt for the supply of 50 thousand pistols CZ 75 P-07 «Duty» was concluded in the first quarter of this year.

L.Kovarik also said leading companies CZUB negotiations on supply large batch of small guns with representatives of the Iraqi security forces. Until the end of this year, the Iraqi side has to decide on the purchase of a large batch of new assault rifles, sniper rifles, and self-loading pistols.
Company Ceska Zbrojovka stated readiness to fulfill the requirement on Iraq’s service center area of ​​the country, as a training center for military and law enforcement officials combat use of new systems of small guns.

Iraqi Armed Forces and the police uses diverse arsenal of small tools, consisting of American, Chinese, Bulgarian, German, Polish, Romanian and Ukrainian samples.

CZUB company is one of the greatest, but not the only manufacturer of small guns on the ground of the Czech Republic.
Yearly production capacity of 180 thousand is CZUB pistols, assault rifles, self-loading rifles, which in the main exported.
