Kharkov aircraft factory will supply the An-74 in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan

Kharkov State Aircraft Manufacturing Company (KSAMC) has entered into contracts for the supply of aircraft An-74 in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. This was on March 28 at the board meeting of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (Hogan), the chief of the Main Department of Industry, Transport and Communications Hoag Yuri Gurenko. In particular, the contract was signed with Kazakhstan in March.

According Yu.Gurenko have KSAMC also has contracts to supply components for the An-140. He stressed that the general director of the plant, Anatoly Myalitsa "managed to stabilize the financial situation at the plant, was cracked under the previous leadership."  


Help "SQ". The main products are KSAMC aircraft, developed in Antonov im.O.Antonova. In the early 90-ies of XX century. KSAMC switched to production of the An-74 for the needs of commercial aviation, and since 1999, mass production of regional turboprop An-140.

Kazakhstan LLP "AeroKZ" and SAC "Antonov" (Kiev) in December 2011 announced plans to build a plant for the production of regional aircraft An-140-100. Plan to build a plant near the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan).
