Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights OSCE advises to make objective standard election observation, which will be held on September 28. Specialists turning their attention the obstacles that were in the elections for effective monitoring of the vote count. In this regard, the Bureau hopes, that the Belarusian party observers will be guaranteed access to the vote count.
Already in August first Bureau hopes to receive an invitation to deploy surveillance of the official Minsk. Besides professionals, the Bureau requested the OSCE to bring long-term observers of Belarus 40, to be deploy goal until mid-August. In addition, mission will be deployed 300 short-term observers for you to watch the vote in the election day.
The assessment mission visited Minsk from 9 to 12 June and had meetings with the representatives of the authorities and the opposition.
As said CEC secretary Nikolai Lazavik, invitation to OSCE observers should bring Ministry Foreign Affairs. Regarding the number of observers, he said:
"What a difference to us?, I think our past statements remain valid: we will not restrict friends ODIHR and CIS neither in quantity nor in functions or status. We’ve always done the right conditions for international observers. This practice will continue in process today campaign . "
Observations regarding the ability of the smooth counting votes, sire Lazavik said that "all the conditions for both domestic and international observers provided by the legislation, will be ensured."
