CPJ asks Lukashenko to reconsider its decision

CPJ "sent a letter to President Lukashenko in June, which encourages him to abandon the intention to sign the law, "- said in a statement the organization.

Alexander Lukashenko signed a new media law on August 4.
According to the lawyer of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Andrei Bastunets, law is repressive character.
