In the management of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia in Sverdlovsk region began implementing electronic document management system (DMS), "Euphrates", developed by the Russian company Cognitive Technologies. To implement the project was acquired license for 15 concurrent users. Migration officers work every day with a lot of paper, so the speed and quality of processing directly affect the effectiveness of the controls. Given this fact, the leadership of the Federal Migration Service of the Sverdlovsk region has decided to transfer paperwork departments in electronic form. After evaluating several systems, automation of document and records management, on the Russian market, management experts selected EDS 'Euphrates. " The main factors that have affected the decision, have become rich functionality, flexibility and ease of use of the system, said the Cognitive Technologies.
Currently, management experts exploit the SED "Euphrates" in the test mode. In parallel with the configuration of the system is carried out training of future users. It is expected that after the implementation of the SED into production with the help of overhead will be reduced working hours, increased efficiency and economic decision-making, as well as increased levels of performance discipline management staff.
According to the results of the project to automate workflow in the Federal Migration Service of the Sverdlovsk region may decide to replicating SED "Euphrates" in the management of territorial divisions.
