EMSS will produce a large shipment of rotors for General Electric

PJSC "EMSS" (EMSS, enters the engineering division of Rosatom — AtomEnergoMash) participated in the tender for the supply of products for the energy industry.


According to the results in 2014 for the U.S. company General Electric will supply 83 Energomashspetsstal rotor for wind turbines of 1.5 MW each. The weight of each of the rotor will be 6.5 tons, and the weight of the entire order — 539 tons.

Also, according to the results of the tender will receive an order from General Electric to manufacture rotors for wind power capacity of 1.6 MW. For this EMSS will be qualified in terms of which the company is to produce 10 of the rotor shaft.

This opens broad prospects for the company, because the company General Electric in 2014, plans to increase the production of wind power by 2.5 times compared to 2013 year.
