Functional MiG-29M2 JSC «RAC» MiG » August 29, 2012 made a flight from Russia to the airbase Batajnica (Batajnica), Serbia.
The aircraft, which piloted by test pilots RAC «MiG» Stanislav Gorbunov Alexander Pelikh, accept a role in the airshow, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Air Force of Serbia.
The aircraft also perform demo flights prazdnichkom aviation, which is held at the airbase Sliyach (Sliac), Slovakia in connection with public prazdnichkom Slovak Republic — Slovak National Uprising of days (August 29) and the days of the Constitution (September 1).
General Director of JSC «RAC» MiG » Sergei Korotkov said: «We cooperate intensively with the Air Force Eastern and Southern Europe, maintaining and improving the operation of previously supplied MiG-29.» Managing Company «MiG» noted that the work will last. «At the same time, we are ready to deliver our usual European partners MiG-29M/M2 new aircraft having much the highest combat and operational properties», — Sergey Korotkov allocated.
Double MiG-29M2 and a single MiG-29M — new serial warplanes JSC «RAC» MiG «. They are made on the basis of shipborne fighters MiG-29K/KUB serial production of which started in 2008.
When designing and family MiG-29K/KUB MiG-29M/M2 Problem solved combining outstanding aerodynamic features traditional MiG-29 advanced developments in avionics, materials, engines and armament.
As a result, the functionality made combat aircraft, capable to fight with air, ground and sea targets with a modern and promising precision weapons.

Unlike airplanes of the «4», MiG-29M/M2 has an open architecture avionics that allow to modify and extend airborne avionics and weapons.
Modern airborne radar «Zhuk-ME» allows to accompany up to 10 enemy planes and missiles to fire at once 4 of them.
Optoelectronic last generation capable of detecting and storm air and ground targets funny day and NIGHT MODE from a few 10’s of km.
MiG-29M/M2 resettled new detection systems attacking missiles and laser irradiation, which allows time to identify hazards and fend them off with the help of electronic warfare.
