FOR’Z: What in your opinion, the main current trends in the market car-multimedia?

D. W Russian and Ukrainian markets are car-multimedia one thing in common — the so-called effect of pent-up demand. After the collapse of the Soviet Union was a very difficult period. When the economy collapsed, the well-being of the population was far below a reasonable level of nevertheless, that this passion for good electronics in every sense — good audio, the video is good — remained. Then, when the economy stabilized, our markets have been recognized by leading companies as one of the most dynamic, as well as, for example, China. Therefore, when many of our partners five years ago to report that in Western Europe every year market head units is reduced by 5, 10, 15%, we have observed at the overall picture of growth.

A very important point is that, in contrast to Western Europe, we have a very significant part of the car has a very poor sound system, or not have it at all, as, say, the car «Lada». We honestly recognize that it’s not good for the consumer, but on the other hand, he may choose at its own discretion much better system. The second point is that, like all the world markets, we are exposed to the crisis, as if at one point the world is something happening, then sooner or later the chain is dokatyvayutsya before us.

Very powerful trend is that in the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine’s largest automakers have opened their assembly plants, and now there is a redistribution of consumer demand — the buyer prefers inexpensive foreign cars, for example, collected in Russia — Ford Focus, Renault Logan, Renault Duster,

Hyundai Solaris (acceptance). And this trend is very negative for us, because these machines are usually already available with some basic audio systems. Accordingly, our company is a big plus — is that, since the advent of the interface processing units Audison, since 2008, we are a very serious work to promote the concept of integration with built-in head unit. We can see that this brings some fruit in every sense — we are increasing our market share, we note that those installers who have started to work with our most advanced products are growing much faster than in the professional aspect, than their counterparts who prefer to work in the old way.

And today’s conference once again confirmed that we are on the right track, because it was given a very large number of different issues. Perhaps this year in the number of questions — for me it was the most serious event. And it’s great because when we are faced with indifference, it means — or the topic is not interesting, or we are doing something wrong.

FOR’Z: How do you assess the changes in the qualifications and interest installers and dealers, on the one hand, and the consumers themselves — on the other hand, over the past 3-5 years?

JS If we talk about consumers, that in the last five years there has been a serious bias consumer interest in this segment of consumer electronics as madiasmartfony, communications, tablet computers, high-quality video playback system, the same cameras. In the first place I would put the gadgets. This is — the number one trend, people are willing to pay for them is very serious money, it changes the way of life of people as resources such as Eacebook, Instagram are not virtual, but real platform for communication.
