A team of developers CVTs «Technology» together with the specialists of «RAC» MiG «and JSC» Sukhoi «much has been done to create a fundamentally new type of aircraft glazing, with multifunctional nano-sized coatings protects the crew from the effects of external factors.
On the basis of theoretical and experimental research in the country for the first time developed a multifunctional coating composition for aviation glazing methane-based optical and silicon compounds. Such a coating reduces the electromagnetic radiation at 200-250 times, solar heat flux of 40%, an ultraviolet flux 2-3 times ghosting 1.5-2 times the light transmission window while maintaining at least 65%. In the short time experts had developed the technology products manufacturing glass cockpit for future aircraft. The planned dates successfully completed qualification testing of five types of products, which included the identification of 21 parameters for compliance with specifications and standard documentation.
