The current Easter Week in Moscow was sunny and warm. They all had their own concerns, their hopes, searches and discoveries. Among them unexpected joy has become a big exhibition at the Manezh, which was attended by artists from all cities and regions of Russia. So it was called officially IX All-Russian Art Exhibition, and on the facade of an arena wore festive poster with the familiar emblem of the «Russia».
The discovery was relaxed and unusual. Press conference for journalists took place right on the air — on the sun deck in front of the Arena. However, as if to compensate for the poverty of the last art form, widely shown its natural end result — elegant showcase of books devoted to Russian art, its outstanding masters.
Most of all, perhaps, in a sculpture engraved variance of styles, polyphony, a range of genres, the richness and originality of individuals schools. From traditional growth and expressive portrait bust up the small plastic shapes and amazing metaphors — such rich spectrum of this section of the exhibition.
